People are leaving Florida in droves because of crime, over priced housing, insurance sky high, and bad school districts. Bradenton has gone down hill badly. Let me say, I know crime is bad in a lot of places. But in Bradenton, you cannot go out at night time. Some people "think" they are save in their neighorhoods, but you are not. Yesterday, 6 schools in Bradenton on a lockdown. The yearly Desoto parade had less participants in the school bands because of gang activity threats, and Bradenton has robberies by the handful daily. I cannot wait to leave..................

FORT PIERCE, Fla., May 18 (UPI) -- A total of 722 pizzas were lined up longer than two football fields in Fort Pierce, Fla., to raise money for charity, the event's organizer says.
Organizer Scott Van Duzer said while he was thrilled to learn the pizzas had reached a world record length of 722 feet, 1 inch, the real winner was a St. Lucie County firefighter who lost his home to a recent wildfire, The Palm Beach (Fla.) Post reported Sunday.
