Prostitution is illegal within Las Vegas. It's only legal in counties with fewer than X amount of people. Can't remember how many that is though, 50K maybe? I think the closest brothel to LV is around 50-75 miles.

Now that is smart. If (for whatever reason) they did make prostitution legal in Florida, they would need to designate certain counties, maybe 20, to be "prostitution zones", and the rest "prostitution FREE zones", which includes ALL the major cities and their vicinities.

Don't tell me what is true and what isn't true, OK? I lived in Orlando for many years and had a few friends go the why of prostitutes and all of them want to hotels (not nice hotels mind you) to have their stuff.

Also, because I lived in Orlando (a big city) for years, I can tell you crystalblue that having legal prositiution in the large cities where the casinos would be is not a good idea, it would just cause more problems.

Its already there. always has been, always will be.

and NOTHING will ever change that. at least if it is legalized, it can be regulated and taxed.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Orlando is NOT a "big city."

back on point

I was out at the Tampa Hard Rock a few weeks ago. It looks pretty nice. And I hear its about to have another growth spurt!

The problem (as I see it) with putting casinos in the major cities is, there is no room to have a "Strip". Unless all the existing hotels put them in.
