Possible job in Ormond Beach. I am in my 50's , and widowed. I love the beach and considering this move. Pros and cons? Thank you.

OB is a lovely area but unfortunately I've spent very little time there. Would suggest a visit and searching here for 'ormond' and you s/b able to pull up other posts, hopefully someone has more info.

Ormond Beach is largely a nice area. I would say it depends upon your interests. Where would you be moving from and what is it you find necessary in terms of lifestyle criteria?

Thank you for your reply..I'd like a place to walk, close enough for shopping, night life really isn't an issue. Are there events or fairs throughout the year. I'd like a nice friendly place.

Ormond Beach isn't that walkable and mostly suburban.
