Default Looking for apartments in Haines City

Hi, my fiance and I are looking to move to Haines City for a job transfer and I wanted to see if anyone had any good suggestions for an apartment. I'm coming up to a brick wall finding anything online so I'm trying the forum. We're both in Memphis right now so visiting right now is a little hard. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Lisa

Default Haines City

Lisa, about a month ago I went to that area to look at houses by a builder I like.

I decided against Haines City area ......South of Orlando, right? - seemed like a poor downtrodden area to me.

Have you been there? Maybe you ought to fly down and take a look before relocating.

I have to agree with Stargazing Lisa. You may want to look at other areas nearby.

Thumbs up Try Southern Dunes

I have a property just outside Haines City on Southern Dunes (Top 10 Rated Golf Course). It is very nice there. Haines City is up and comming with many new developments, it is also away from the mad rush of Orlando. It is situated in a gr8 area close to most things nature beaches close and Disney 25mins away. Southern Dunes has 24hr Wal Mart 2mins some really good Food places too. Dont dissmiss it, it has a lot going for it and wont cost the earth to live. Haines City (Town) is not gr8 but surrounding area is superb value. Then with all that Florida and Polk county have to offer the town is really the last place you would go. PLUS PRICES ARE GOING UP IN THIS AREA !! Southern Dunes also has condos.
Welcome and good luck.
PS you could rent my house for $1200.00 pm 3/2 with pool.

Maybe you ought to look for towns close to haine city. I know people that live there and its pretty much run down and most people live in mobile homes. maybe you should try poinciana, lake wales or davenport. You should also look into renting a home, there are plenty and you can get a good deal.
what kind of job was you husband offer?

Default Homeowners' Insurance?

For UKMartin and others in the Haines City area - how available/affordable is homeowners' insurance? Is it better than the "coastal counties?"

Any replies are appreciated.
