Default Opinion of Parrish, FL

Does anyone live or know anything about the town of Parrish. It's in a great location for Tampa, St Pete, and Sarasota. Just curious how the neighborhoods were, schools, traffic, and any stores opening in the future. On one website they mentioned that there is only one street light in the town and it's pretty much a country town? All sounds very nice but are there any negative sides to this.

I once looked into the Moccasin Wallow Rd area of Parrish and was amazed at how cheaply some of the extremely nice new homes there were being sold for! There are true bargains down in that area.

Parrish has a very small-town feel; as all the stores and restaurants are on US 301, and there are houses on the streets that branch off from it, and that's about it. There's not much crime there either.

If you are going to work in Pinellas County, shooting over the Skyway and heading north on I-275 involves no traffic, so trips that way will be a breeze. If your job is in Tampa, the drive north on I-75 and west on I-4 might be congested, but if you use the Crosstown Expressway you can considerably reduce commuting times to Tampa.

I'm sure there is a resident on the site who might be able to provide more info on Parrish.
