Overall, in 2005 Miami-Dade's black population was about 500,000, compared to 1.4 million Hispanic and 450,000 white non-Hispanics. In Broward, there were 450,000 black residents, 400,000 Hispanics and 900,000 white non-Hispanics secound in the state is broward county over all there are about 1.1 million blacks in south florida http://www.targetmarketnews.com/storyid08070601.htm

By percentage that means Broward County has a larger black population.

Technically, no. Dade County has a larger population, therefore, Broward has a larger percentage.

There is no argument, this is a fact.

I don't think he is asking something. At least I don't see any question there. It is an interesting thread. It is good to have updated demographic information and how it goes changing through history.

this is a city forum so demographics are relevant and interesting, at least to me, for all the cities / regions. i certainly did not know that about miami / dade county, so thank you for the information.
