One drink a day? Ummm, no.

Some of us actually have lives and need to move around and get to work and run errands and all that requires moving around.... I'm not some 90 y/o woman living off social security having one glass of water all day sitting in a chair...staring at the wall.

No one just stays still in their house all day not moving that's ridiculous.

I'll never give up my AC.
LOL, Wait till after a hurricane and you have no power for 10 days!

Anyone follow this advice? Is it do-able?
Man...that's a crappy way to live.

No AC or fans in Florida? No freezer? and only one glass of water per day? And moving as little as possible when he's home? More power to your friend, but that's no way to live. What does he do when he has company over? Tell them to bring their own battery powered fans and their own bottles of water?

If he were my friend I'd be inviting him over.

I've already experienced that with Hurricane Wilma in 2005.

I didnt have power for a full 16 days, however because it was October..... it was not quite as bad as July or August.. Dont get me wrong it was awful, but at least in October there are some days where the humidity doesn't seem so awful. .

In case you're not a class A troll but someone with cognitive problems, pelple have heard of AC in France and Germany unless they live under a rock. In any case there are only a few really hot weeks in the year. People dont have BO because they use a thing called shower, also common in the USA. There are also multiple perfumes and colognes to choose from in the USA, but normal people don't use them as a substitute for personal hygiene.

I had a condo in Pompano Beach and we'd tell the snowbirds they had to leave their a/c set on 80 even when they went back to Canada, or they'd have problems upon their return. Of course they wouldn't do it and would just turn off the a/c for 8 months and then be shocked when they came back in November and everything they owned was covered in mold and mildew.

"Stay still". Yep, good advice!

C'mon, good folks, this was a joke thread. But, as anyone who has travelled to Europe knows, Europeans disdain deodorant and smell to high heaven for it, even in 60 degree temps. We even considered, as a mission field, of visiting European countries handing out free travel size deodorants for the disadvantaged. Number one target: hotel clerks.

I guess nobody ever heard of he European shower.. it consists of putting cologne on. All joking aside I have family in Germany and Netherlands and they are not like that. As much this topic thats rough living in Florida without a fan or AC.. good luck to you and God Bless.
