We moved here from Ohio and love it. We are not filthy rich athletes, just nice, middle class folks with Midwestern values, who happen to enjoy being warm, blue skies, sunshine, natural beauty, beaches, and the ability to pursue outside activities like gardening, walking, biking, kickball, etc. without being cold. Florida is not for everyone, but for people who like warm, sunny days most of the year it's ideal.

I knew it would work out because of my determination to accomplish what I want.
I knew what was here, I knew what was available to me as far as resources. I answered every question that came up. Once I had all the answers, I knew it was right. Much more than a educated guess.

Yep. Knowing what you like and finding a place to fulfill those likes.

Highly educated and 25 means that the person is book smart but has no idea what life is about or how to navigate through it.

A lot of book-smart folks are worth millions ... and cash is king.

And if what you say is true, why does anyone go to college at all ? They should all move to the streets of NYC to learn about life and how to navigate through it.

I'll be sure to tell my radiologist cousin who just got married and put a 50% down payment on his house that he has no idea how life works.

They must be putting something in the water up there in Sinkhole Hill.

I think it is pretty much right on. Start college at 18. Do 6 years. What do you have?
A piece of paper and a huge debt.

It's always the ones with no degrees that make light of those with advanced education.

It's always those with no money that say money is not important.

It's always those that can't improve their surroundings that try and justify them.
