So, it appears that Crist did cheat, the campaign was fully aware he was cheating, and Scott never said he wouldn't come out on stage. Charlie had the hissy fit...not Scott.

Also have a look at how many of Rick Scott's appointees have been utter failures. Jennifer Carroll, who he had to ask to resign as lt. governor amid ethics allegations, is one of a long list of awful mistakes in that regard. Tony Bennett had to resign as Florida education commissioner amid allegations he changed school grades when he had a similar position in Indiana (Scott said he was doing 'a great job' earlier) His Scott-appointed predecessor in that position also only lasted about a year. Scott is also on his third Department of Corrections chief during a time when that department has faced controversy over privatization attempts and scandal over prison guard abuse possibly leading to inmate deaths, a Director of Unemployment who was forced to resign for fraudulently claiming unemployment benefits, the Agency for Persons with Disabilities has had four different heads in two years......

Except Crist was standing at the podium waiting to debate Scott for a full 7 minutes before Scott finally walked out. I saw no indication that Crist was anything but cool calm and collected, while Scott was hiding and trying to come up with lame excuses for his failure to show up on time.
Whats that old saying about fooling some of the people all the time?

If you would bother to read the many reports out there, and if you really cared about the truth more than fooling yourself into believing what you want to believe, you would know that what you just stated was completely wrong. I don't care if you want to vote for Crist. I think it demonstrates a lack of principle and character for a Democrat to warmly embrace a Republican in Independent....err.....Democrat clothing but I also know you don't care what I think and that is fine. I just object to the childish lies and propaganda that always seems to come out of the mouths of Democrats.

I don't know how many times I have to say it. I don't like Scott but I'd vote for him one hundred times before I'd vote for Crist. He's a better governor with a better record. One of the two will win. I want the one who will do the better job.

I'll say it again Crist was standing on stage for a full 7 minutes, was there no one in Scotts entourage that was competent enough to advise him Crist was on stage waiting?.
And if Scotts logic was to wonder if Crist was going to show up or not why didnt he go on stage and wait for Crist?.
Lame excuses from the Scott camp to cover up a major gaf IMO
I dont really care who wins ,i'm just stating an objective opinion from what i read in the media up here in Canada.

Yay. More opportunities for us to become the laughingstock of the nation...

Two old white Republican men arguing over a fan. Both lie. Both have already been governor. Neither seem to mind selling the people's interests out for their own, nor making our state look even stupider than it does already. What a rich choice we have before us.

That said, Dick Scott needs to go.
