BTW, not that it means much, but the Gipper's approval ratings were nothing to write home about, either.

Hope and change ... well at least we still got hope. At least we know for certain that Reagan was born in the U.S ... and the approval ratings I see from your links are not too bad.

At least the trend in FL is for positive job growth and a declining unemployment. Unemployment has actually been worsening in much of the rest of the South recently.

It's good to a fault I suppose. In theory, we could have virtually no unemployment with a majority reliant upon some extent of welfare. That's probably the direction in which we're headed over the long-term, and not just as a state. Unemployment numbers therefore can be essentially meaningless depending upon the economic climate.

That's true, and while I am beginning to look into Florida's numbers more seriously, I wouldn't think FL would be as generous with the dole as some place like MN or IL would be. I know TN and GA are going in full reverse economically, and the improvements in FL are welcome.

Let me guess, you can walk the walk?

Even if we assume you are correct, whose fault is it that someone paid good money and put in 4 years for a degree, got the degree and still has nothing to show for? Who gave them the degree? Who accredited whoever gave them the degree? Who is collecting on the loan interests and laughing their way to the bank?
