Never said Florida is the best buddy, I said it is bad in all states, they can all stop making it look like it is the worst here. I think it suck i came back here 3 weeks ago, and can't find a job in my profession for anything, but I am making the best of it, and not crying on here....

I think a lot of whining maybe people leave their home town and then pine for it when they leave it.Yet if they returned it might not be all they remembered.
Good and bad wherever you go.
Also Ct houses aren't selling.Houses are taking a year+ to sell and at a much lower selling price.
It is bad all over but it evens out, you sell your house for less and buy for less.

This has nothing to do with Florida whining.
This is the cold, hard facts about the nation's economy and housing market. Florida happens to be hard-hit, in some places, ground zero.
I come on this thread because there are so many people on here that have a firm grip on the economic state. It is nice to read so many intelligent posts.
And with that said, how about the run on Bear Stearns? Was that something else, or what?

Could be a sign of the times. I am sure we will see all kinds of crazy stuff, by the time this shakes out.
I've been warning my mother about banks. She called me tonight, and said I was right. It reminds her of the Great Depression, she said.
Is there a way out of this?
As long as the Fed keeps trying to pull the purse strings we are sunk, I think.

Canada, UK, UAE, New Zealand, even Japan. You have a ton of choices IF you are serious. I looked into it myself at one point. Still might leave, we shall see. I had thought about leaving America back in 1998, but not to run away from economic collapse, just for something different.
