That's why I believe I would like the panhandle area. The weather gets cooler in the winter so you don't need to blast AC all winter. The beaches are some of the most beautiful in the state and the cooler winters will keep the tourists away during the winter since not many people wants to go to the beach when it's in the 50s and 60s when they can go to central and south Florida where it's in the 70s and 80s.

it had the clearest water I'd ever seen, in some parts it was wayy over my head, and I could still see a shell at the bottom...

Beautiful snapshots from a boat
These are pictures heading north on the east coast of Florida. A friend of mine took a trip to NC. Wish I was on that boat!!!

I agree Floridabound, no matter how you feel about Florida you would think people in this thread could at least enjoy the pictures. As much as I dislike the cold and snow I can go to the Maine thread and enjoy the pictures of the winter scenery just as much as I can the beautiful Florida scenery pics.
