Hello Forum,
I am looking or some input with your personal experience. We are planning on relocating to Florida. I need a good high school. I would love a community that has friendly down to earth families. I have family in the Delray area.. but don't see myself there. I have looked up safest areas of Florida and I see Parkland, Weston, Port St. Lucie and the others I have never heard of. So, good schools without having to go to private, safe, friendly.. is that sound like anything you know? Thank you in advance for your time and thoughtful posts.

The top-rated public school district in Florida is in St John's County, which is just south of Jacksonville. The communities of Ponte Vedra Beach, Nocatee and Julington Creek are safe/family friendly areas with easy proximity to Jacksonville. The area tends friendlier, more down to earth in terms of residents in my opinion as it has more of a Southern feel versus much of Florida which has a lot of Northeast and increasingly Puerto Rican transplants.

It amazes me to hear that the Viera high school is overcrowded. The building is enormous.
