Ok, now I know I could just go on weather.com and find out the temperature today... please bear with me. I am planning a girls' getaway with my best friend to Ft. Lauderdale next month and wondering if it is warm enough for us to expect to bust out the bikinis and come back up North with winter tans that will make our fellow Northerners envious.

We are expecting a high of 77 today. I slept with the windows open last night. A week ago we had a front come through and we had hard freeze, wind chills in the 20's, absurdly cold wind, etc. It lasted about 3 days.

Thank you both for the info. Even though it's 80-ish, is there a chill in the air? You know how that sometimes can happen even when the temperature is warm?

I have the windows open, fans on and it's a little hot but nothing you can't handle. No chill at all, you will love it!

This chill can happen sometimes, but its usually early in the morning, around the time I go to work (7-ish). But mid-day its gone, so you should be fine.

I think it's somewhere in the 80's today. Perfect beach weather. Hope you enjoy it!
