I've lived in Clearwater Florida my whole life.
Girls I know have been raped, biggest cult in the world has their HQ here, alot of my highschool friends are drug dealers now, others now in prison, worst neighborhood in Clearwater actually has a documentary about how bad it is, most everyone I know does drugs, most everyone I knows parents also do drugs, breaking into cars and houses used to be a way to pass the time.
A friend of mine moved to South Caroline recently and said there were none of these problems.
Florida is a ****hole, I'de leave if I had the money.

On the contrary, I know someone who lives in Clearwater and they think it's wonderful. They say that it's far safer than in West Palm Beach even. It sounds to me that you're overreacting a teeny, tiny bit.
I'd rather move to Clearwater than South Carolina, too.

Everything I said in the first paragraph is a fact, not an opinion.
You live in the rich part of Florida and their is absolutly noooo way that part is less dangerous than Clearwater. I know beceause I've gone to visit my aunt there and there are gated communities galore.
If your friend is not exagurating it's beceause they either live in a 55 plus community or one of the very few grossly outpriced gated communities here.

There's more crime in Tampa itself than the 'burbs. If you want no crime at all, you have to live in the boonies-let's say North Florida in LIVE OAK. And not in town either, in the woods. Any area that is city or larger town will have crime.

Um, yeah right! West Palm Beach is not rich, and the crime rates here are FAR higher than in Clearwater.
West Palm Beach median household income - $36,774
Clearwater median household income - $36,494
Clearwater, Florida - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
West Palm Beach, Florida - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
They are essentially the same in terms of income, so your so-called "facts" are more than a bit off!
I also know someone that originally lived here and then moved to Clearwater due to the crime and gangs here. They say that there's some crime in Clearwater but it's NO WHERE as bad as here.
Also, the gated communities exist OUTSIDE of the city.
You might want to do some research next time before you argue.

Argh, fine if I must I'll break it down for you.
Girls I know have been raped- How one would consider this an opinion I don't know. Maybe I was just confused when my friend called me at 3am saying "I'm being raped come to the park by your house help!"
biggest cult in the world has their HQ here- Look up scientology, that's alll you have to do
alot of my highschool friends are drug dealers now- Well I don't know, maybe I was confused when two friends from my neighborhood were selling everyone weed. Maybe it was Basil and they were opening up a spice shop! Must have been good basil with people buying it for $5 a gram. I don't know how my friend in fostercare got the $5000 he showed me, damn he must have his own basil shop!!!
others now in prison- Once again, I don't know how this one couldn't be a fact, I'm pretty sure I remember showing up at a couple buddies trials trying to testify on their behalf. I remember my best friend joining the bloods and shooting someone to death. But I guess it's just my OPINION that these people are in prison.
worst neighborhood in Clearwater actually has a documentary about how bad it is- Look up "Da hood gone wild" that's all you need to do.
most everyone I know does drugs- Why don't you come to my neighborhood and tell my childhood friends that they don't do drugs while they smoke blunts in your face. Those are actually the good kids, I was forced to hang out with people who smoked weed, beceause the alternative was people who smok crack.
most everyone I knows parents also do drugs- Almost every one of my neighbors had a parent or two that would smoke with them. But that must be an opinion.
breaking into cars and houses used to be a way to pass the time- I know, beceause when I was 15, 16 I used to do this. I don't need a speach I know it was wrong, that's just what people did around here. Then again I might be delusional and this might have somthing to do with an opinion.
You know what the scary part is? I grew up in one of the middle of the road neighborhoods of Clearwater. It gets WAY worse than this but it doesn't get much better.
My bad about calling your neighborhood rich anyways, I was thinking of Boca Raton.
