Most people agree that taxes need to be cut, but here is an interesting story that shows the results of some cuts.

State: Cuts put colleges' summer in doubt

I am a working student attending St. Pete College and plan to go to USF at the end of the year. A lack of summer classes will, no doubt, slow my progress.

What part of the budget do you think should be cut to lower taxes? And is the tax relief going to make a big enough impact to warrant these sacrifices?

Needless, non-productive spending. Certainly education, health care, and law enforcement should be priorities, but even in these cases spending has to be done intelligently: many schools are rampant with nepotism and incompetence, for example.

Good question, but, on balance, common sense prevails over the "wisdom" of a few self-styled experts and their media sycophants.

People need to be given the chance to do what is productive, not irresponsibly encouraged to live beyond their means.
