Default Agricultural property tax exemption

Is anyone familiar with the process to convert vacant land to agricultural exemptions? I am thinking of using some of my vacant land to grow native plants, or even specialty foods.

I believe each county has their own guidelines such as minimum acreage needed.
I know where I am you need to start the agricultural business and then apply.

The property appraisers office or agricultural extention office for your county can give you the guidelines.
