NLF, dont get me wrong- I like FL in many ways, but I see its warts. And thats easy to spot if you're a long time Floridian/native. I wouldn't be in FL if I didnt like many things about it. But to say NC is all hicks, etc and feeding that sterotype is quite ridiculous, esp since some posters have never lived there.

You should just go back to your racist post and clueless comments until you're banned from this forum.
You just had to throw a personal attack at them didnt you? Most people don't feel good enough until they get some type of revenge these days or at least have the last word. Why couldn't you have just pretty much ignored it, told them they were clueless, and that life is too precious to waste time on conflict? I guess it makes you feel 'bigger' to throw a dagger right back. Or are you guilty of something they said, or don't like their opinion or comments even though whatever it is could be legit/true? Usually thats the case I have seen, either that or some type of mental/esteem deficiency that one has. I pretty much do not care what anyone calls me or attacks me. I know who I am and how most others are, so I am not phased in the least. Have a great day. What was the worst part of your experiences living in Florida anyways?

I give FL a 7 out of 10. I wouldn't leave unless for just a couple other places.

Pretty much what I would give it. I'm a Florida native, so I'm not blind to the state's weak spots, but Florida still offers me a better deal than many other states would. Like you said, there are only a few other places I would go.

Agreed, I'm a native as well. Only other places I'd live are like Greenville SC and Asheville NC. If I moved back to Asheville, I'd work in Greenville where our office is, and that'd be a hike, but I drive a lot now as it is anyway.

Living steps from the gulf - which I can visit everyday if I want? I hope I never have to leave.

Do you know why I made the "personal attack", as you call it? If not you're more "clueless" than the poster I was responding to. Go preach to someone else.

I feel bigger now, so carry on.

Are you saying I'm guilty of being a racist?

I don't like their opinions, or their comments. Also, I don't believe anything he said is legit.

Native Floridian and I am researching areas to relocate. I am tired of the trash I see today here in Florida. The word "sense of community" does not describe South Florida, at all. If you are a new york or new jersey guido or a poor immigrant from a third world country then you might like it .... but after 7 years it's getting tiresome.
