Nope. I'm a Florida native who grew up hating Florida. I have also lived in California and Australia, but I've come back to Florida now with a different appreciation of it. Plus my career opportunities are here. I could live elsewhere in the US, but then be suffering financially.

Humidity is a little tough to handle, but everything else about Florida is great.

Heck no!
I freeze my butt off every winter here. Where else would I go?

Sounds like you need to see a doctor about potentially life-threatening health concerns if you freeze during the Floridian winter.

I sure would, I only haven't because most of my family is here. I would like to move to North Carolina or Tennessee.

Florida has by far the highest % of people who move away, interestingly. It also has perhaps the highest or second highest number of people who move into it too.

Strange place.

I fell in love with FL in 72. Wife fell in love with it in 84. Been here since 88. Wouldnt think of living anywhere else in the continental U.S.

No.. even though I may be struggling now in St Pete, I wouldnt leave FL let alone the Tampa area which I plan to find some niche in somewhere. Theres problems in every state and FL has theirs yes no question however I have to always think how I could always be in California or Texas or some real bad place like that. It helps some or I have to keep active and be a go getter, sometimes its hard though but those things usually help me think of FL in a better light if I have any struggles here.
