I am looking for some opinions of relocating from Philadelphia to Valrico FL.

My Husband and I are both 28 years old, both Nurses and were born and raised in the Philadelphia area. We are currently starting a family so we are looking for family friendly communities. Is Valrico family friendly? We are both love being outside walking our dogs on trails and being active. Does Valrico have a variety or parks and trails to walk? Any opinions on the HOA communities vs the non HOA communities?? What are some good hospitals to work out in this area? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Valrico is very family friendly along with neighboring Bloomingdale and FishHawk Ranch which all have A-rated schools. I would post in the Tampa Bay forum for neighborhood specifics. If you're buying I would highly recommend HOA versus non-HOA so as to keep your real estate value/investment up since non-HOA neighborhoods usually involve at least one or two nearby homes with cars (working or not) parked all over lawns, shoddy maintenance and garage doors left up all day prominently displaying hoarder characteristics.
