So just recently I found this article...
Cape Coral-Fort Myers: Local ‘metro’ No. 6 in U.S. in growth
"New data released from the U.S. Census Bureau shows that Cape Coral/Fort Myers is the sixth fastest growing metro area in the nation, with an estimated population increase of 18,000 people between 2013 and 2014."
The article says that Fort Myers/Cape Coral is growing by leaps and bounds. People are moving there in droves. It's among the top 10 fastest growing metros in the entire nation!
If so many people are moving there it must be a great place to live, right? Do you agree??

Lol I wouldnt go by any article like that and no, it doesnt mean its the best place to live. Each person is different in what they need and want, I wouldnt ever assume somewheres the best because of an article like that. I havent visited the area, but after researching a lot, found it to not be the right spot for us. Im sure same has gone for others also.

I would say it has more to do with the cost of housing, which is a good bit lower than other areas of Florida.
