I've done a pretty extensive search and it seems as though every time Orlando and Tampa go head to head Tampa comes out on top, why is this and is Tampa really that much better than Orlando?

Which city feels newer, has better weather, a better job market, better traffic, and lower COL?

IMHO Orlando is a great place to visit (and indeed I was in the Port of Orleans Resort all last week)...but I wouldn't want to live there...I prefer Tampa Bay...Pinellas County...Palm Harbor for a myriad of reasons...

Care to name a few of those reasons?

Based on your "extensive search" why do you say that, "Tampa comes out on top"?

IMO, it is all about the water. If you don't care about it, you might choose Orlando. But if Florida means beaches and waves and boating and fishing and all that, you gotta go with the greater Tampa Bay area.

I'm moving from Tampa to Orlando because of how much better Orlando is. So, no. Tampa can't offer me 1/10th of what Orlando can.

"Better" is subjective - might be better for one person but not another, depending what you like.
