you know, with a lot going on and people walking around all over. when i lived in san diego it was fun driving up to venice beach.

anything similar in florida?

Basically, no. Even in California, Venice Beach is pretty much unique. Sorry.

Check out Miami Beach and the Hollywood Boardwalk. But as noted, Venice Beach is one of a kind.

Agree the boardwalk in Hollywood. Also Daytona Beach has a good boardwalk. Fort Myers Beach has "Times Square" as well as the beaches. Clearwater Beach has some similar amenities.

Hollywood for sure. I was there recently and thought to myself how it reminded me of Venice Beach. It is definitely an older demographic and they don't have even close to as many counterculture types.

Clearwater Beach is vaguely similar too but it feels a lot newer/nicer than Venice, Hollywood is older and slightly run down so it has a similar feel to it.
