So we moved to Port Charlotte. Been posting photos (okay, so they are beach photos, sunset photos on the bay, etc). And, yes, 30 minutes to the beaches where we live. Better than 6 hours to Galveston from the middle of a prairie.
So the daughter is coming down with the grand kids, the cousin is coming over with her family, etc, all this summer. If you move to Florida, you become a vacation destination.
