i was looking into moving to deltona it is a house located so very close to the water and yes it has water damage but it comes with 5 acres it is located inbetween and very close to lake theresa that is the back yard and lake ann marie... is any one familiar with that area. it looks like it was terribly flooded and like it may haave sunk some. i am comin from ohio i lived in orlando back in 1981 but i know times have so changed but that is okay i am so tired of the snow and freezing rain and wind.

I like the Mt Dora, Leesburg, Traveres, Eustis area. Lake county.
Many nice 55+ communities there.
Many lakes, high elevation, away enough from the coasts so hurricanes are not as much of a threat.

Money magazine voted it one of the top 3 places to retire in the country.

Hi....We live in Mims...it's about 5 miles north of Titusville. Very quiet and semi rural. If you need a big city like Orlando, it's not that far of a drive...Oviedo is closer. Our Publix is just 5 mins away...take a look!

Default Hi

would recommend areas like Winter Garden/Windermere. I live in Winter Garden on the boarder of Windermere and we have never had a problem with crime, its fairly quiet also but is located pretty close to everything with good access. Mt Dora is also very pretty and a nice area

Dear N.E.Y.,
Yes, currently I have two places.....my home up North is a big home I designed and built myself about 8 years ago, and my home in Florida is one we just bought last year. My intent is to retire in about 3 years, sell the northern home and move to Florida.....never again living in a place where I can see my breath outside..... I really do not plan on going back and forth once I can "make the big move".

I liked Lakeland and Lake Wales. But that was 4 years ago. Hopefully, it hasn't changed much.
