Here, there are very few places that have good/bad neighborhoods within the same zip.
Some neighborhoods may be more desirable than others but towns here are pretty uniform.
If it's a good town, the town as a whole is good. If its a bad town the entire town is bad.
It's one of the things I'm nervous about with moving.
Even Naples has a poor section, only town I found without one is Sarasota.

Why is Miami not on that list? I swear I can't spend 10 minutes watching the news without hearing about some drive by shooting.

That's not the news you've been watching, it's Miami Vice reruns. Time to turn off the TV, go outside, and introduce yourself to the 21st century. You're apparently 25 years behind the times.

Yeah, there's no longer any crime in Miami. [/sarcasm]

From the look of the list, they sub-divided a lot of the Miami area into smaller neighborhoods and cited them separately.

The other individual to whom I responded can't differentiate a tv show from the nightly news, and you apparently have trouble with maps and geography in general. There was only one place on that list that is anywhere remotely near Miami; in fact, most of those locations aren't even in South Florida at all.

I'm actually pretty good with geography. If you had read the entire list/article rather than focusing on firing off ill-mannered responses, you would have seen.....

#47 North Miami
#57 North Miami Beach
#60 Miami
#134 Miami Gardens
#135 Miami Beach
#145 South Miami
#153 South Miami Heights
#198 Aventura
#200 Pinecrest
#211 Miami Springs
#231 Miami Shores
#235 Kendall
#266 Key Biscayne
#295 Coral Gables

...which shows that even though Miami was placed on this list, various other sections of the city were given independent entries and were evaluated independently of the larger city. Which was my original assertion.

Let me see from places I have visited in no particular order

Collier county: Ave Maria, Immokalee
Lee county: North ft myers, Lehigh acres
All parts of Polk, Citrus, Marion, Osceola, Volusia and Hernando counties

I'll stop, too many crappy places and I still haven't visited Perry or the panhandle!

Newsflash: No you're not good with geography. You are confusing counties with cities.

Please educate yourself and look up city of Miami. It is not the same as Miami Dade county. Do you see any other county in that list? No.

LOL, I wouldn't bash the panhandle too bad, coming from SE FL of all places.
