Default Interested in Spring Hill

Hi I have a piece of property in Spring Hill. I am thinking about moving there. Can anyone tell me if it is cheaper to build a house on your own property or buy a house that is already built. Also, I have 2 small children, 2 older ones. Is this an ideal place to move with kids? I currently live in NYC. Any info on spring hill would be appreciated. Thanks so much!!!!

Since you already have the land it would probably be less expensive to build on it than buy new.
Your best course of action, in my opinion, would be to come to town and talk to a few builders to get an idea what your house would cost and add the cost of the lot to that.
Then go to the new developments and find models similar to what the custom builders would do for you. Compare the prices and see what it looks like.
Keep in mind that there could be CDD and HOA fees in the new developments and if you build custom you can get exactly what you want.
