Default What is Spring Hill like?

According to Google Maps, Spring Hill has some of the cleanest water around. That said, are there any good beaches in this city? Is there very much to do there?

No big beaches here.
You have a small beach at Pine Island which is usually not too crowded.

It is not a big party town. Not too many clubs.

It is about 55 minute to Tampa and about the same to Clearwater where you would see more action.

Then again if you are into outdoor activities you always have something to do. You can hike one of the many preserves, canoe the Weeki Wachee, Horseback ride in Croom and bike ride at the Quarry (old quarry which is now a preserve and loaded with wildlife).

You also have some good cave diving spots if you are very experienced and many other spots for the not so experienced.

I relocated to Spring Hill from Long Island. If you have a family I think it is nice, it is quiet. If you are looking for nightlife, Tampa and Clearwater offer that but like Mike said it is a 45-55 minute trip.

Default Spring Hill

Well, as far as night life goes, a few people tell me the Pickled Parrott on 29
is o.k. No more live music though I understand. Maybe karoke. Then there is jerrys place on Spring Hill Drive.

Spring Hill is a quiet semi rural area that is great for the nature lover and
one who does not want to be in a city. It has no "main street" or "downtown" but has pockets of places for anything you could need.

I moved here 3 years ago from Orlando and have grown to love the area.
