Cool to hear about Stump Pass Beach.. Sounds like an undeveloped stretch, with the kind of sand/water that's present at Siesta Key, plus shark teeth and seashells? That sounds like a winner.

Good to know, I didn't know how well they were connected or what specific portions were considered reef or not. Interesting to hear about USS Oriskany.

Lake Okeechobee is a new one. Certainly unique, I have heard that Pahokee and Belle Glade have very interesting cultures different from much of the rest of the US thanks to the isolation. And Lake Okeechobee in of itself has some unique characteristics, though I am not completely aware of all of them.

Devil's Den looks incredibly unique, and I was not familiar with it at all. Added to the list.

Another one.. pretty unique, in FL waters.

Pulley Ridge is the deepest photosynthetic coral reef that we know of today. The reef lies 100 miles west of the Tortugas Ecological Reserve and stretches north about 60 miles at depths ranging from 60–80 meters

Add the Dry Tortugas to that list.
