We just returned from the panhandle. Liked it. Would probably buy a place there if we could get a straight answer from the realtor we dealt with among other things. Plus get about a 15-20% reduction from the asking price. We'd probably take a shot then.
Depends. We're not looking to steal anything but are max attentive of the fact that MOST real estate is overpriced at this point and don't want to make a bad decision.
Did you see that this psycho in the white house is talking about sending another 40,000 troops to Vietnam? Oops I mean Iraq? Are you old enough to remember what happened to the economy 5 years after Vietnam? I am. And that's when we had no debt. No 8 1/2 TRILLION in debt. Still had a partial manufacturing base left. No 75 MILLION boomers getting ready to collect socialist security along with another 40-60 Trillion in unfunded liabilities.
It's going to take more than just an average deal to motivate us to take a few hundred thousand dollars out of an interest bearing investment and put it into another house.
