A few years ago I purchased two lots on a pretty street in Hernando-Citrus County. One had a trailer on it, so impact fees are Grandfathered in. The trailer is older and run down, but livable. It would be a great place to build a nicer house. It was lakefront, but with the drought it is now "big open field front." It will be lakefront again one day! We paid $56,000 for the whole thing-2 lots and the trailer. We would like to resell it now. Does anyone know of a good agressive realtor in the area? One who can get it sold? What about auction companies? That might be a good option for us... Any help appreciated.

Is it in Hernando or Citrus?
If it was just a couple of years ago that you bought it, you may be hard pressed to turn a profit on it. In Hernando lot sales have slowed down tremendously, much more than home sales have slowed down. See what compareable lots are selling for and see what you can do. |
