I could understand that I would always root for my teams but if i am in another state I probably make one of the teams of my new home my 2nd team to root for if that makes sense

Kyle? My "relative" is a "Cheesehead" but grew up in the Midwest and he lives in Orlando. Oh and he has never been to Green bay either.

Besides so many people not having a home team spirit, you have to take the cost to attend as a reason for empty seats. Going to an NFL game or a race at Daytona or Sebring is a very expensive day. And now they use search and seizure to remove food as a 'safety' concern. So you're forced to purchase very expensive stadium/track food/drink.

Most people here support their hometown teams. Florida isn't their hometown......

^^^^^
You're right. I wonder how the Bucs players feel when playing at home and the visiting teams get more cheers for plays than they do.

I don't think it's a big issue with the Bucs. Their problem is getting people to come to the games at all.

Because that's what true fans do.

A good point since Florida is pretty much at the bottom of the barrel for disposable income and median income of all the pro sports markets.
