depends on your lifestyle
Are you looking for male partners then there are certain cities which are better. If you lead a gay lifestyle, other cities are better.
What type of things are you looking for in a city, what size etc.. how close to shopping..
too many unanswered questions.

No need to expand further. If you are a woman, what city or cities in Florida would you most like to live in? (If you are not a woman.... go watch football or something).
This is a personal question that doesn't require any data.

Phriend, I would suggest Naples. I know a couple of single women - in their 50's - who love living there. One of them found a steady boyfriend too!
If you were to live in a social active neighborhood, you'd have the opportunity for singles events. We had a condo in a beautiful community, and I read on the monthly newsletter calendar that they had regular singles cruises, singles dances, etc. open to the residents.
I'm sure there are other places who have the same type of social calendar, I'm just familiar with Naples. Good Luck to you!

Oh girl I would NOT reccomend Naples. I'm married but I've heard from single girlfriends that the guys all want girlfriends 20-30 years younger and they want rich too. The men here are fakers driving expensive (leased) cars and living on SSecurity.
Don't expect them to buy you dinner but do expect that they'll want to come home with you.
The women here--great looking and lots of plastic surgery to keep up with the Joneses. If you're a man this is the place to come. Women--go elsewhere unless you are looking for a man to take care of (in many ways).

Age range?? I would suggest any of the metro areas in south florida. Kind of pricey but probably better than the burbs or a retirement village.....

If you are young and single...Jacksonville, Tampa or Orlando. Maybe Miami. If you are married with children...SW Florida. If you are middle aged and single...go to young and single choices. I would never live anywhere in the middle of the state, and I wouldn't live in the panhandle. I am young and married...i choose Clearwater/Palm Harbor, or SW Florida. Jax is poo if you ask me. Too northern..not really Florida.

why bother?
I wanted some other info of which the poster of this topic refused to answer.
It is impossible to know what city for females if you dont have any idea of what the reasons are...
so, as I said, why bother with an answer?
