The people who eek out a living doing crappy jobs, living in crappy areas are the people who complain about life here.
Spring Hill,Brooksville,Hernando/Pasco Counties are very crappy areas.

That is the definition of an "internet troll". I think it is some type of mental unbalance caused by being stuck in a life of mediocrity and general unhappiness in their lives. I have little doubt that those who earn the "Not A Member" tag simply come back with a new screen name and continue their mission to be the best internet troll as possible. The Florida forum seems to have an endless supply of these people who justify their nonsense as it being their "opinion".

I have found that it is best to put these posters on my "ignore list" as soon as possible. The only problem with that is their vile trash postings get quoted by others replying to them thus, feeding the troll.

I am very surprised that they are permitted to continue as members of the forum.

Then we have those who left the state since they had problems adjusting or simply realized they made a large and costly mistake and remain in the group to release their frustrations by blaming their failure on an inanimate target, i.e. the State of Florida and the people who do live here.
You have your own share of ignorant posts. Just saying. You state ignorant things about minorities, and you boast about Florida to a level that is bizarre. I love my home state, but it has flaws like any other. I'm half convinced that you are a paid schil, hired to boost real estate values. Google it sometime. You fit the mold to a tee.

Not too sure I would call Wesley Chapel, Land o Lakes and New Port Richey "very crappy areas."

Spring Hill reminds me of Brandon, but on a less congested scale. I haven't explored much of it, but from what I've seen, that's what I could compare it to.

Really? Please refer me to posts where I say anything about minorities While you are at it show me "boasts" about Florida.

What Ive always done here is to refute mis information. If that is "boasting" about FL so be it.

Sure, FL has its flaws. However, when we decided to end our time in NYC 30+ years ago FL beat out any other states we considered.

I have absolutely no ties to the real estate business or tourism.

You dont feel that most of the negative posts give a true picture?

You really think a single person is going to cause real estate values anywhere? ROTFLMAO.

I'm a guy, just saying. I just find it important to challenge nonsense wherever we see it. At the same time that we can boast about our state, and we do have a pretty awesome state, we should be willing to acknowledge and desire to fix its flaws. And especially shouldn't belittle those who are struggling. Too often, some people like to arttack the individual rather than acknowledge that the local economy (or other factors) may be holding them back from thriving. Florida has been a pretty tough place to make it in the post recession world, but it is getting much much better.

That, and that poster says a bunch of lies about New York City, one of the coolest places on earth, all the while trying to get New Yorkers to move down here. I analyze people's posting history a lot to try and figure out what type of person they are. A lot of people come to boards with an agenda, and it is important to not take them seriously.

I was with you until your NYC part... The problem is that, while I like NYC quite a bit, it is only good for a select few people. First of all, I never like to go up there with my whole family. Alone, fine. I love it. With kids, forget it. And that's just visiting. I lived (for a very brief moment) in Queens in my teens, and cannot for the life of me imagine raising my 3 kids the way I do here in NYC. The quality of life (if one can afford it here) is leaps and bounds above that of NYC for a married coupled with kids.

Note that when I say "if one can afford it," I'm not talking about being a 1 percenter. We are not rich by any means, but as two young professionals who most would consider a solid middle-class family, we are able to live very well, and provide for our kids in much better ways than we would in NYC.

What NYC posts are "lies"??

Ever live there? Been there in the past 6 months? Know anybody who lives there?

My "agenda" is simple. Point out old outdated information, provide facts and not opinions.
