The first thing you want to do is figure out which beachside area you want to have a condo in and then look there. It's not expensive to rent or hang out in a couple of different areas and see which appeals to you most. If you choose a place in Ponce Inlet, but you want to be in an area with resturants and some nightlife you will be disappointed. If you want beaches packed with people, you would be disappointed in Ormond-by-the-sea. It won't do you any good to save $10,000 and figure out you would be much happier 5miles down the beach.

Daytona equals hell on earth.. beware, ormond north is much nicer as is anything south of daytona
