house value $350k
Insurance $937/yr full replacement with that 2% thing

now for the biggest laugh I have had this month
I called to find out how much the insurance is going to be on the new house in Georgia and it is going to be $937 it is actually higher than here in Fla when I stopped laughing I asked her why, It seems that "upgrades" like granite,SS appliances etc cost more to cover.

Should have added $500 deductible and 2% hurricane deductible....

Property taxes: $584 (Homestead) plus $234 on the lot behind our house which is now assessed at $13,905 - according to tax collector - last year, same lot was assessed at $2,400 (property tax last year - $46.48!!).

I cannot wait to move out of this state.

So far the cheapest: Jacksonville house value $350k Insurance $937/yr full replacement with that 2% thing

Most expensive: Royal Palm Beach: House value...$250,000 Insurance....$3,800 full replacement.....2% Hurricane deductible

I'm somewhat surprised that our hardcore forum members have not replied. I was under the impression that we had a low rate in Navarre, but other areas are still very low and their location is one that is seek by new home buyers .

Is the housing market in your area getting cheaper?

Thank you for your inputs...
