Wondering if he has seen that Welcome to Fla sign yet?
I never tease. It is currently 82 degrees where I am and we just got back from the pool, my daughter and I both have the day off tomorrow and will probably be back there again.

Meanwhile, people elsewhere will be shoveling snow while wearing WAY to much clothes for my taste. I hate wearing clothes, thats one of the reasons I love living in Florida so much.

Hey all. I am still on my way down, we are in Darien, GA. We stopped overnight to rest again. Like I said I am not in a rush, I want to arrive alive...LOL. I'm about 52 miles from the FL border. Besides it is now 68 degrees here and OH DOES IT FEEL NICE. It was about 9 degrees when I left Massachusetts yesterday at 11am. I will take a pic of that sign tomorrow as I drive into FL. I'll take a pic of the palms too. I'm not teasing, just happy to be back down here. I'll post more tomorrow when I land, so to speak.

Your posts are awesome! They remind me of when we returned to FL, the excitement and sense of power as the temperatures rose.

That feeling of passing through the Georgia swamps along 95 and then entering FL is amazing.

Yes, I drove by some of the swamps a while ago. Also some of the tidal rivers along 95. And the ones in South Carolina. Also it's cool when you drive over the Savannah river. Lots of road work here in GA on 95 though, I swear they are 24/7/365 doing roadwork here on 95.

Well, gotta get some sleep. Tomorrow is the big day.

I remember when we drove into Florida, how with each passing mile you could feel the temperature going up. I was so excited.

I feel the same way when I go back Texas to visit, I am so excited to come back home to the warm and flowing palm trees, sunlight and beaches.

Have a safe trip.

I'm going to the pool again today.

I literally have no concept of how cold that is. I get cold when it dips below 70 degrees here.

I bet you can't wait to get back here.

I would be cold all the time, huddled under a blanket if I had to live there.
