We spent 6-7 months a year doing just that. Not for much longer !

A warm consistent 70 ! We dont see that for another 3 or 4 months.

My wife gets cold easily and like you anything below 70 she is frizzin'.

Grandmas quilts come in handy.

Has anyone heard from the OP, did he make it home ok?

He's supposed to be arriving in Cape Coral today. We are about 6 hours from the Florida state line so if he left mid-morning, he'd be getting in around now. A front is moving in this afternoon so poor guy is getting cold weather after all that! (well, cold to me!)

Yea, my friends and family in New England, Texas and Oregon get a real laugh out of what I call a cold front. A cold front too me means I can turn off the AC.

I might actually have to sleep under a blanket. Even my cats are Florida cats, they get cold and come snuggle on the bed when it dips down for a Florida cold front.

Yeah, in a cold front you can turn off the AC AND bust out the sweatshirts you bought years ago but they still look brand new.

Well, here I am we made it down in one piece. There were a few scary moments on the way, one in New York, and a couple this morning in the rain on 95 in FL. But I am pretty alert and attentive, so I was ok.

Yes the rain was pretty bad in GA. and FL. we left at 10:30 and got here at 6:30, we stopped a few times to eat and stretch.

I have the Florida welcome sign picture I will post tomorrow. I have to figure out how to post it on here. It was pouring when I got it.

IT FEELS SO NICE TO BE BACK. It's 74 degrees right now. I am so exhausted though. So i will be going offline. I wanted everyone to know I made it here, and everything is great.
