What do you think is the most beautiful road in Florida ? I would say mine is Ocean Drive with all of the Art Deco and neon lights along with the beautiful Coconut Palms that are in Lummus Park and line the street along with beautiful outdoor cafes.

To anyone who is not from Florida, Ocean Drive is in Miami Beach or what they refer to as South Beach is the most popular place for nightlife presently in this state.

Easily, without a doubt, Overseas Highway, especially the 7 Mile Bridge.

A1A from Fort Lauderdale to Palm Beach

One of my favorite stretches. So tropical, lush and green

FL 399 from Pensacola Beach to Navarre Beach. Most of the route goes through undeveloped Gulf Islands National Seashore.

Great topic. I read the OP and thought Ocean Drive would be part of my second tier. I came up with three that would comprise my first tier. I then scrolled down, and the next two posts = two of the three on my first tier....The Overseas Highway, and the A1A between Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale. The other choice on my first tier is the 30A east of Destin, out to Seaside and back. The other poster's choice of FL399 from Pensacola Beach to Navarre Beach is a great choice as well. I'd add that to my second tier alongside Ocean Drive.

I cant imagine how someone would say driving through a city is the most beautiful road in Florida, there are so many better choices.

Its hard to pick just one. But off the top of my head 471 is an enjoyable experience. It drives right through the middle of the Green Swamp

My favorite is a cruise along The Forgotten Coast from Mexico Beach to Apalachicola. Old Florida cottages, oyster beds, black bears and live oaks.

I've got a few;
South Tropical Trail at the south end of Merritt Island between Mathers Bridge and Pineda is pretty cool sandwiched between the Banana and Indian rivers.
The old dirt Indian Trail just south of Sebastian Inlet that cuts across to Wabasso Causeway.
The Old Dixie Hwy from Hudson up to Weeki Wachee along the coast.
Hwy 60 from Vero west through mile after mile of endless citrus groves.

There are a number of varying options (the Overseas Highway is my favorite) but would add many of the causeways that connect the beachside with mainland throughout the state as faves too. A couple that come to mind as scenic are the Rickenbacker Causeway connecting Key Biscayne to Miami across Biscayne Bay, along with the Courtney Campbell Causeway connecting Clearwater to Tampa across Tampa Bay.
