"A good parking place has nothing to do with distance from the store, but everything to do with shade."

You know you're in Florida when:
Your wintertime clothing equals socks with your flipflops and a sweatshirt over your shorts.
(I have tears rolling down my cheeks and my stomach has a cramp from laughing so hard. Some of these are positively hillarious! Loved the shrimp bait story from Nanwalt3)

You know your in Florida when:
You have Thanksgiving dinner out by the pool, and go Christmas tree shopping in your shorts and tee shirt.

You plan your summer vacation as far north as possible, trying to find the coldest spot in the country in August!

Each to his own, when it is 55 degrees here, everyone I know is in sweaters and long pants. It was in the 60's last night and I wore a cashmere sweater and jeans to dinner.
