Great job Gov Scott!!
If you think Rick Scott had anything to do with that you're completely delusional. Florida is the 3rd most populated state and fastest growing due primarily to weather and lack of state income tax. Rick Scott's influence rarely if ever extends beyond padding his own wallet...

Not that you would ever give credit where credit is due, seeing it all through those liberal lenses of yours....

Gov Scott wants the 5.5% corporate income tax, a definite draw for corporations to operate here. He also pushes for other tax reductions making FL a state with a good climate towards business.

I know I've been surprised (maybe I shouldn't be,)at the number of small manufacturing businesses one isn't likely to know about tucked away here in Florida. One I recently discovered looking at the package of cockatiel seed mix, from the Higgins Group. They are located in North Miami, and make all kinds of high quality bird food and other products. I have used their bird food for years, our birds like it and do well on it, and who knew they were right in our back yard?

I have also seen cosmetic and beauty products, and cleaning products, not to mention pharmaceutical manufacturing in southeast Florida as well.

Yup, that was his aim and his promise as a governor. I'm not overly crazy about the man personally, but IMO you have to give credit where it is due.

I agree.

I've learned here on CD that those who trash Fl and complain about everything that happens here are those who know the least. Their bitterness blinds them. Scott was a businessman before office and tries to bring some of that thinking into his work on the state.
