YES!!!
Looking forward at the last day of December 2013 to hang it up and then I'll be on the road heading to S. Florida.

I miss Florida from time to time.

Everytime I start to get homesick, I schedule a vacation. Usually I'll be in love the first few days but when the end up the week starts coming up and gets closer to being time to go I start to realize that it's not the same as it once was and that I probably wouldn't be happy if I moved back.

The most pressing problem for me is the job market and it's throughout the entire state. Not just my native Tampa.

I usually spend a week or two down in St. Pete every other year or so.

Hope you all can come here and buy up all our devalued real estate and thus correct our housing market so many more of us can sell and get out.
(Florida is a good State, but I am sick of what it has become and long for a bit less heat and humidity)

I miss Florida terribly.

Everyday I wake up I wish I could wake up in Florida.

Hopefully some day soon we will be in Florida.

I see many people in this thread who have moved away and are moving back.

What do you guys who poster that miss about Florida?

Congrats!

I have a couple friends who left Florida for Austin, Texas for a job. Both sets of couples were from Florida and both are wanting to go back.

They like Austin but miss Florida, one couple is in Florida right now looking for a home and the other couple are going back as soon as their home in Austin sells.

I miss it like crazy whenever I'm not here. My love affair with the state began when I was a child, before I had even been here, and it still continues today. I love everything - the nature, the greenery, the ocean, the laid-back atmosphere of many places. I also love that I sometimes feel like I am on an island, or in a tropical rainforest while in Florida. It's just a special place to me. Oh, and I couldn't live without my manatees!
