I'm not gonna stand for people pulling that crap of unemployment going up due to minimum wage increase when the real cause is skyrocketing labor force participation. That's BOGUS! and only the downright stupid would fall for it.

Have at it.

Since the legislation was announced last summer, The Seattle Times and Eater have reported extensively on restaurant owners’ many concerns about how to compensate for the extra funds that will now be required for labor: They may need to raise menu prices, source poorer ingredients, reduce operating hours, reduce their labor and/or more.""

What an excellent article about the diverse, strong and growing Florida economy. Seems like a great place to be. Great find.

Ah, come on now. We keep seeing the mantras of posters who tell us how there are no jobs, if there is a job it only pays $10 an hour and the only jobs are in tourism, FL is "backwards", everybody is leaving FL "in droves", everybody is a retiree, the government is corrupt and Gov Scott wants to keep FL a poor state,

Let's look at some of the recent gems posted here.....

"Rick Scott wants to keep Florida a **** poor wage state so that brainless retirees will continue to flock here and vote for him"

"California is crushing Florida in job creation right now."

"All major cities in Florida have **** wage economies. "

"The long and the short of it is that Scott is an idiot, and a total failure as a governor and a human being. Instead of finding businesses IN Florida for Florida workers, he goes all the way across the nation (not far enough to get away from his reputation it appears) trolling for something like this. I'm sure he was roundly laughed at by the Californians because you can't even take this seriously. It really is a stunt.",

"Scott endorses policies that scare away the intellectual classes, so businesses in California would not be able to relocate to Florida anyway. They would be leaving one of the most educated states to one of the least and they wouldn't find workers that they need.", " to even acknowledge backwards florida as an economic rival is hilarious in itself."

"You know why most of them leave after graduation??? Because Florida doesn't have jobs for them. "

All of that information and you want me to believe Wells Fargo economists???

Duh, the recliner quarterbacks are have hours and hours of study. And you know, these other States and cities, even a fry cook drives his Mercedes to work and enjoys taking their yachts out on the weekend.

Don't you know? "Republican = Stupid" "Democrat = Utopia"
