hahaha that is funny TaNaples! I understand. The only people that live in Florida are the snow birds, they come in January and leave at the end of April.

Isn't it just awesome looking at the weatherbug on the computer to see 94 degrees with a heat index of 102?!?!?! Or now it is 10:32PM and it's still 80 with an index of 84...

Snowbirds have no clue what it is to be here year round... They don't get the "full effect" of the lovely weather here. Oh no... I'm being negative again, I will again be stoned. I'll shut up now.

I really wish you the best back in MA, as soon as you said Cape Coral back in February I knew it was going to be trouble... |

Ya, but you live and learn, right? LOL... I'm ok for now, I am just "doing my time" until we leave. I do like some things about here, it's not all doom and gloom for me. At least I live on Pelican Blvd, the best area of the cape. I like working at my step fathers restaurant, it something new for me. I'm more or less done with the heat though. I forgot what cold was up there, froze. Then forgot how hot it gets here, melting....LOL. 78 degrees all year would be a great high temp, then 48 as a low. With a 50% humidity level, and 50 dew point... But I am not fond of California...
Ya, now the grow houses are more in Lehigh Acres, the pit of Lee county. They got scared out of the cape it looks like. ![]() |

Hi! We left Florida 3 years ago to move to NJ. We just sold our house here and are heading south once again...yahooooo...we are going to settle down in Port Orange (used to live there and Daytona Beach). Looking for a single family house to rent by end of this November...so, if you know of a house for rent...send it my way. Have a great weekend!! T~

Let's see ... born in Miami (my mom was here for her "health" when preg), but they went right back to Brooklyn.
Then to NJ before moving to Broward when I was ~9. College in Gainesville, then to Atlanta for 5 years. BACK to Miami. Job opportunity in San Diego 5 years later, now BACK to Miami again after 6 years in SoCal. We'll try to stay through kids going off to college (~12 years), then who knows. Hopefully we can split our time between NYC & Miami. Add 2 months in the summer in SoCal and you'll have MY perfect life! ![]() |

Born in Philly.
Moved to Daytona for College in '99. Moved to Orlando 03'. Left Miami for Denver on '06. Trying REALLY hard to find a job and move back to Orlando (the girlfriend has a job lined up in Orlando, just waiting for me!) |
