You know, not for nothing but, unless you and your ancestry is native American- YOU are European (or South American, or African, or Asian, etc, etc, etc) . These ppl live here now and if naturalized are ALSO American. It's ppl like you that give humans a bad name. Tired of this.

Have you read the other forums? And for the record, I really dislike comments like this ^^. If Florida is so bad, feel free to move. What state IS the epicenter of Mensa, Kyle?

Ignorant comments are prolific on the internet. If people only go by what they read on these forums, they will get a negative impression of every state in the country. Probably every country as well.

You need to read previous comments before you make a comment as I was putting an arrogant European in his place. Thank You!!!!

Like it or not, Florida hasn't been given the moniker of "Floriduh" just because and for the record not everyone can up and leave where they're living for various reasons.... and don't expect to me not contribute any negative (yet factual) information to this forum whilst you and others provide your cheerleader perspectives which can also leave an impression many will argue is not truly representative of living here, nor factual. Last I checked, it's an independent forum which allows for varying points of view and was not created by the state tourism board or chamber of commerce.

But where is the epicenter of MENSA members?

The last Census tell is that people in the United States who are high school graduates or higher, age 25 + years of age, 2010-2014 is 86.3%

Those with a Bachelor's degree or higher, age 25 years+, 2010-2014 is 29.3%

Florida comes in with people who are high school graduates or higher, age 25 years+, 2010-2014
86.5% and those with a Bachelor's degree or higher, persons age 25 years+, 2010-2014 26.8%.

Floriduh or about average?

If someone really wants to change their lives as to location, employment, education can do so if they try. Those who feel stuck in life simply havent tried hard enough to change their situations or they simply do not want to make the effort.

Living in FL is really no different than living anywhere else in the US except, of course, the weather and geography. The COL varies greatly depending where in the state you are but that holds true in any state when a major metropolitan area is involved.

I have always found that the negatives raised here on the forum are based totally on personal experiences and is not a true picture of life in FL.

Just a bunch of morons who launch rockets into space

You are right about the negatives on here. It's always uber-emotional personal experiences. "People at school were mean to me, Florida sucks."

Well don't you think highly of yourself, while discounting others differing opinions that don't mesh with your own? What a special little world you live in...

Uber-emotional personal experiences? LOL

It's actually factually based as shown above and for the record they also launch rockets into space from Texas, which also isn't exactly known for it's intellectual capital either.
