I`d like to know how people are usually getting into the communities before they rent an apts?
In 3 days i`m visiting St. Pete. One of my tasks is to look around in several communities. But i have never rented such type of housing. What i have to do? i don`t have realtor. Someone told me that have to follow the car in front of me if i want to go inside the territory. I`m afraid it will be out of the rules and i`ll have a chance to be kicked out)
Can anyone share the legal ways of turning out inside the territory?
I heard there are days of open doors? what about them?

Call the communities main office number, and make an appointment to look them over!

Sometimes it pays to rent an AirBnB for a few weeks or a month (many give discounts for a month). That would give you time to look at what apt complexes are near where you want to be. Then you can set up appointments to see units and get a feel for the neighborhoods they're in. If they have an empty unit, you might get a special rate. Or look online for a local property manager. They might be able to find you a nice condo or house.

Good luck!
