That says it all. Therefore, you are unaware of the true effects of pot. Among other things, pot can alter a person's perception of time and speed. Someone under the effect of pot should not get behind the wheel of a car to drive. The rest of us shouldn't have to be subjected to someone's carelessness and irresponsibility just because they feel that it's not the government's job to decide what people may put in their bodies.

People should not drive under the influence of alcohol either. Should we ban alcohol?

As other states who have found out, a Constitutional Amendment is an entirely different animal than a law. A law can be changed to fix flaws --- an amendment must be voted on again!

Adding "medical" to marijuana does not change the reality that it is simply legalizing marijuana. Sometimes 'enlightened self-interest' causes people to do things without thinking them out thoroughly.

I am fine with making it all legal......medical or not.

Medical cocaine exists. It's "legal" to use under certain circumstances

It's amazing how so-called conservatives act like big government nanny state liberals on the issue of marijuana. Wanting the government to ban people from using a plant for medicine is not conservative. That makes you no different than the New York liberals who tried to ban soda.

Great post!

Many of those "conservatives" also like to define marriage and tell a woman what she can do with her body
