Apparently this is method millions of voters use in Florida
Article in Miami paper I read online said that many ballots are disallowed due to two mistakes...
Either NOT signing the ballot or not having a signature that resembles the one on file... How it is on file, I have no idea ince I am not registered in Florida...

Just pay attention to the requirements and make sure your vote counts...
Whomever you are voting for...

When you apply for a vote by mail ballot, you have to request and they send you a form to fill out. After they receive the form, your signature is now on file.

They do not just automatically send out ballots to all residents.

To those who do vote by mail-in, please make sure that you sign your ballots and that everything is completed properly.

This is true. When I voted by mail in Broward county I received a notice that I had not signed the ballot, but it was not clearly marked where to sign. They sent me a notice and I had to send them a copy of my driver's license for my vote to count.

This year I voted in Lee county and in the primary it was clearly marked that you vote would not be counted if you did not sign, but I think you have to sign the outside of the envelope, that way you vote remains anonymous.

I don't remember if I registered in person or online, if it was online they would not have my signature they would only have the dmv signature on my license which is that awful signing on glass that never really matches your true signature.

When I first requested a mail in ballot back in 2008, I just requested it online. After that, every election I get a form in the mail asking me if I want to vote by mail for upcoming elections. That you do have sign so your signature is constantly being sent to them.

Yes, make sure you sign not only the ballot but the outside of the envelop also.
