Is Lakeland in the Tampa/St. Petersburg TV market or the Orlando market if you get cable or satellite? If you have a digital antenna, do you get stations from both metro areas? Thanks.

My mom n sis used to live in Lakeland. They got WFLA and Bay 9 news, which cover the bay area. With a digital antenna, you might be able to get some Orlando stations, depending on how strong it is.

The transmission towers for the Tampa market are east of Tampa in the Bloomington area. TV signals easily received with an antenna. According to where the towers are in the Orlando area, TV signals might also be able to be received.
Go to antennaweb.org enter an address to see where the towers are located, distance and channels available.

Lakeland is very much part of the Tampa Bay market as it hardly shows up at all on Orlando stations, even from a weather perspective.
