which florida city has average cheaper rent?
miami? tampa? orlando? jacksonville? tallahasee?

and in or near which one would you prefer to live and why?

If balancing versus average salary Miami and Orlando are the worst in terms of "affordability". Tallahassee, Jacksonville and Tampa in that order would be my recommendation based on average salaries versus average rent. Of the three I would say Tampa is probably the one I would choose based on location, amenities and job prospects. It's the 16th largest metro area in the US and has pretty much anything you could want in terms of preferred place to live.
